In the vineyard

Working with respect for living things promotes the development of an ecosystem on each plot. Organic and biodynamic farming practices enable regenerative agriculture that respects the local biodiversity.

Farming wisdom, passed down from generation to generation, shapes the landscapes and plots of the family estate. Soil works are kept to a minimum during the growing season in order to preserve the mulch, a true treasure on the soil’s surface and an unbreakable link between the sky and the earth.

This ecosystem is enhanced by the natural flora and fauna and stimulates microbial activity in the soil, which is the cornerstone of our estate’s longevity.

La complantation, mêle la sagesse et l’énergie des vieux ceps centenaires à la fougue et l’espoir des jeunes vignes, implantées après quelques années d’un repos du sol bien mérité.

Grenache, the estate’s flagship grape variety, acts like a conductor, working alongside Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan, and Clairette to embody the purity, finesse, and balance of Trapadis wines.

The parcellar approach

The single-vineyard approach, which Helen and her team pursue every day, aims to reveal, through each vintage, the touch of each terroir in the glass, the alchemy of a place, a climate, and a spirit.

During the harvest

The grapes are harvested primarily by hand, carefully selected, and gently transported at dawn to preserve their freshness and delicate aromas until they reach the warm depths of the vats.

In the cellar

Created and shaped over time by the Charavin and Durand families, the cellar is a witness to the magic of fermentation, where the fruit of the labor is revealed in the tanks. The winemaker’s intuition and careful attention to each juice must reflect the terroir and the hard work of every vine.

La vinification, est l’accompagnement, dans le passage du moût en vin, par les levures indigènes, héritage précieux de nos lieux-dits. Les cuves bêtons multigénérationnelles préservent la fraicheur et le fruit authentique à chaque cuvée. Elles seront sublimées par le bois noble de nos vieux futs et la terre cuite de nos jarres afin de dévoiler la subtilité de chaque flacon.
